Champagne with Bacon for Breakfast:

We like to term it as a brunch instead of breakfast. Make crispy bacon in the traditional style and pile them up on a plate. Season them with your preferred herbs. Now pour your favorite champagne in a flute and don’t forget to add orange juice to it, just a splash of it. You have a mimosa ready for quenching your thirst. The fat in the bacon is balanced very well with the bubbling champagne.

IPA with Pork Belly:

The Indian Pale Ale abbreviated and commonly known as IPA around the world was brewed in England originally and is now famous worldwide. A hoppy beer that comes under the category of pale ale is the best drink that can be paired with the heavy pork belly. Make a pork belly burger that looks yummy to the eyes and start eating it. You might not be able to finish it all alone. Pork belly is too heavy and rich. But when paired with the Indian Pale Ale it is a match made in heaven. The hoppiness of the IPA lets you finish the whole plate even before you know it.

Sauvignon Blanc with Bacon-Egg Quiche:

You may consider it a not so good looking combination due to the completely opposite flavors. But we dare you to try it just once. Because after trying it once you will continue savoring this combination for the rest of your life. The Sauvignon Blanc has a fruity flavor that helps in reducing the heaviness that the quiche has to offer.

Pilsner and Bacon Cheeseburger:

Do we need to tell you anything about this combination? There is nothing better than a chilled beer to wash down the bacon cheeseburger. The hops of Pilsner and the bacon cheeseburger is a crispy-salty combination that is good for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Brown Ale and Canadian Bacon:

The thick Canadian bacon cut into slices needs a beer that can handle it well. Brown ale is chocolatey and compliments the strong-flavored Canadian Bacon very well. A glass of this brown ale can take you a long way with the Canadian Bacon.

Pinot Noir and Bacon Pasta:

Just hearing about the creamy pasta made with bacon can be mouth-watering. Combine it with Pinot Noir and you have made yourself a sophisticated meal. Enjoy any kind of pasta with this red wine till eternity.

Fried cabbage along with bacon and onion will leave everyone wanting more. This recipe is a little sweet and a little salty with lots of butter and is sure to make you crave more. It is simple and easy to make without a lot of effort. You can make this on any occasion and serve your guests with a yummy dish.

Ingredients needed

  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 large cabbage
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp paprika

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 1 hour

Total time: 1 hour 15 minutes

First, we need to prepare the bacon. For this chop the bacon slices into chunks and fry them until crunchy in a pan. For keeping the bacon crunchy you need to fry it and let them remain crispy. Remove it from the pan and cook the cabbage separately. If you cook the bacon for a long time it becomes soft which is not too appetizing for eating. Use the same pan with bacon grease to cook the cabbage. It ensures that the cabbage is infused with the meaty smoky flavor of bacon.

Now heat the butter in the pan and once it melts, add the diced onions to it. Cook them until they are soft for 3-4 minutes. Stir it often to prevent burning. Now add the minced garlic and cook for a couple of minutes till you get a nice aroma.

Its time to add cabbage to the pan and mix everything well. Add salt as per your taste and let the cabbage cook for 10 minutes. Let it reduce to half and cook it until all the moisture has evaporated. Stir it well to avoid sticking or burning. Only after there is minimum moisture left add the bacon to this mix. Once you see the cabbage turning translucent and shiny add the other herbs and spices and toss it well. The cabbage will start turning brown and this is when your dish is ready to be served.

Serve it in a dish and enjoy it fresh. If you have any leftovers, store in an airtight container. You can refrigerate and eat it within 4 days.

How To Make The Best Bacon Rolls In The World

Bacon rolls are everyone’s favorite and to make them fresh at home is pretty easy. We will give you a simple recipe to make the best bacon rolls in the world with lots of cheese. Follow the simple steps to relish these yummy treats.

The total time to make these rolls is 3 hours which includes the time to prepare the dough as well. After following our recipe you will have about 20 bacon rolls on your tray.

To make these you will need the following ingredients:

  • Bread
  • 1 cup of water
  • 80 ml canola oil
  • 1/4th cup of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp yeast
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 3 ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups cooked bacon
  • 2 cups cheese

First, you will need to get the bread ready. For this mix bread, water, canola oil, and yeast in a bowl and keep it aside for 20 minutes. Once the mixture becomes foamy, add sugar, beaten egg, kosher salt, and all-purpose flour and knead it well. You can also mix the ingredients in a mixer with the hook attachment. It will take 10-15 minutes for the dough to come to the appropriate consistency.

Leave this dough in a bowl and cover it with a cloth to rise. After 45 minutes the dough will be ready for making the rolls. During this time you can prepare the filling. Chop the bacon and cook it well beforehand. Drain it well before use and then fry it well. Add grated cheese to this and mix it well. Let this mixture cool while the dough is rising.

You will know that the dough is ready when it has doubled up in the bowl. Now sprinkle flour on the hands properly and set aside smaller pieces of dough. If the mixture is too sticky use more flour on the hands and kitchen top. Take one smaller piece, the size of a tennis ball, and flatten it. Take the bacon and cheese filling on a teaspoon and fill the center of the flattened dough with it. Now close the sides of the dough by pulling it in together and press it gently to seal the filling properly. Shape it as needed and place it on a tray with the seal facing the bottom.

Continue this for as many rolls as needed and place them on the baking tray. Make sure they are placed a little away from each other allowing enough space for them to rise. Leave them aside for 30 to 45 minutes for rising again. You will see after this time that the balls are touching each other.

Its time to cook these delicious bacon rolls. Brush the top of each roll with some milk and add grated cheese or any other herbs as per your taste over it. Bake this at 400 F for 20 to 30 minutes till they turn golden brown.
